How much more must the MOT test be? £45 is quite hard to come by for some people! Test stations must be compensated! After all, it's not our fault we can't test the presented vehicle! Its really rather embarrasing trying to explain that the "computer says no":X

I am currently trying to get compensation from VOSA for the chaotic week almost all of us suffered. My claim, whilst not yet rejected, is taking them a long time to process. we should definitely be able to make a profit out of testing and VOSA/Siemens need to understand that this is done by carrying out tests quickly and efficiently. Surely if they stop us doing so or slow us down they should pay compensation into our credit accounts with VOSA by the hour until the problem at their end is solved.

As a Testing station owner I think the extra time taken to test in fallback should be reflected by an increase in the MOT Test fee. Do other vts owners agree?
