very intresting, car discs are excesively scored and should not have passed, this could be a vosa case and a trading standards case for selling me a unroadworthy car. All the car sales pitch had to do was put new discs on.
sick of being ripped off when buying a car from a sales pitch and they are not roadworthy. I have found a lot of these places work hand in hand with the mot testing station.
Thanks for the info.

yep thats minimum standard requirements,
1.5mm pads, discs as per manufacturers specification, 1.6mm for tyres.

It means they are slightly scored, as opposed to excessively scored, if they were excessively scored it would faili. Remember minimum standard, thats all we test to.

just purchased a car from a car sales garage and they put me a new mot on the car. On the advisory sheet (which i did'nt get with the car upon purchase i found this in fo on the net) it says "discs are slightly scored (3.5.1h)" whats this mean as they look to me as though they should have been replaced.
