do i need a vin plate for the mot?or can the vin number stamped into the chassis be used?

if i need a vin plate...how do i go about getting one?

thanks..

The MoT tester only needs to establish that the vehicle is permanently displaying a legible VIN number.

This can either be :

(a) on a VIN plate secured to the vehicle or

(b) stamped or etched on the vehicle body or chassis.

You're OK!
