The key word in most of the MoT is excessive it's up to the NT to decide what he thinks is excessive and what is normal operating wear? most components can get a little bit of play in them and still be sevicable. It's all down to the testers judgement on the day?
Hi, can i ask how would the MOT tester check the steering system at the steering wheel? This may be nothing but when i pull the steering wheel toward me on my 1996 VW passat I can feel a wee bit of play, what would cause this and would it fail the MOT test?
