as a basic example,i being of an enquiring mind, was confused as to why sn6 2007 was june,sn 7 was july 07+sn8 07 was june again.sn 8 turns out 2 be september-no plates etc.i have no doubt that this is required reading but it shud at the very least be accesible/visible-i.e the basic requirements to test a vehicle.

Clearly the mistake you are making is that you are trying to apply some common sense to the job. The goverment don't do common sense.

| why do we have to look a registration plate lights and not check reversing lights im sure there are more accident caused by having no reversing lights , your comments please
