So I had one of these characters round the other day selling all sorts of stuff out of the back of his van such as nuts, bolts, gloves, etc, well you know the sort.
Anyway the conversation went something like this:
Me: No mate I'm ok for everything at the moment.
Trader: What you don't need any wiper blades ?
Me: Why do you say that ?
Trader: Crikey all the garages round here buy at least 50 from me for a fiver a pair
and fail all their tests on wipers selling them at £15.
I was somewhat bemused at this so I then phoned a mate of mine who used to work for a certain large windscreen company and confirmed every time he put a screen in he charged the customer for a new set of wiper blades.
So my question is does anybody on this site do this or heard of this before ?
