yea we find it a pain in the a**e,there are 3 testers using 2 terminals so it would be handy if we could use either one rather than having to use just the one.i dont see why we can't log in on one then out on the other, its the same vts so i cant see it being difficult to network the 2.this technology is 8 years old though init.
i asked a siemens bloke why it uses dial up rather than broadband, and he said that its more secure and its old technology.

aint no minimum/maximum time,as long as you do full/thorough test then how quick/slow you do it is up to you.1 query,we also got 2 terminals,is it just us that finds it a pain in the a**e having to start/finish test on same 1 u started with?how can a computer not carry information between 2 terminals wired up together with a physical distance of less thn 3 foot?have got wireless network here at home, can probably spare siemens the 20 quid it cost if they are that desperate.

i would like some feed back on this one...
we have 2 bays (pit scheme), one class 4 one class 7.
we log off a full mot after 25mins then log on the next one.would this be considered bad practice by you?
you being mot testers btw...

Hi Rob.
No probs with slots, they're at the old price, we pay by credit card and they only took £288.
How many testers/ terminals do you have? 150 a week is a lot of tests!

we bought 200,dont know if theres any limit on what/when you buy but that was all the credit we had in account at the time.do any slots used after that date get billed accordingly?200 slots will last us about aweek and ahalf.

go into special notices on vts.they come up a week or 2 before your message icon tells you that they are on there.october sn has been on there for about a week and contains new prices.youll still have to aknowledge it as read in a few days time tho, system doesnt register that youve read it till message icon appears in youre inbox.
