I would be very surprised if your testing station would be struck off just for missing a few Q.C's and admin. As long as the garage has no previous history with VOSA then they cannot go along the lines of cessation. However, If the garage has previous points then Formula A could come into play which would mean a possible cessation of testing.  Most garages seem to think that a cessation period is 5 years, however remember it is down to the SVE to issue the disciplinary, and after all the 6th Edition Manuel IS ONLY A GUIDE.Most garages seem to think that a cessation period is 5 years, however remember it is down to the SVE to issue the disciplinary, and after all the 6th Edition Manuel IS ONLY A GUIDE. I would be interested to see the outcome of this, also can i ask which is your local area office, as i do know some SVE's "rules" differ from other area.If you feel you can pm me. David

Hi guys:)

The garage I test at  (2 lanes, 20+ tests a day, 3 NTs)  had an audit a few weeks ago, luckily I was off on holiday that week.

My AE recieved a letter today saying to seek legal advice regarding possible suspension.

Now I don't care if my boss loses his right to run a VTS (yeah, I don't like him) but I don't want a black mark against my name because I am in the process of setting up my own station.

So my question is will I get points or a note against my name if VOSA do decide to take action against the AE?  As far as I know it's all to do with the QC checking (or lack of) and other administrative  errors...
