I contacted vosa to let them know my situation, i start my new job at a Ford main dealer on the 3rd of January so i called vosa again last week to let them know, they said thats no problem and just to give them a call when i'm ready to be inspected.

Cheers for the advise guys:)

Just another thought, if the Ve  does  ring he will ring the old station to see if you are ready, if they tell him you have gone he will not do anything more, so ring him or the local office for his number, there should be no problem with doing it at another station, Good luck.

No reason why you can't do your practical assessment at another VTS, if you have had an offer of a job elsewhere.

Your practical should be completed within 4 weeks of attending the training course.

If you've had a job offer at another VTS, and you are ready to start work there, then get practicing, and contact your local VOSA office to arrange a visit from the area VE.

If you dont do the practical within the 4 weeks, you will have to attend another NTT  course.

You will not hear anything  unless your local Ve has nothing to do, I suggest that you ring him and let him know that you are ready when he is for the demo test. Have you done lots of practise??

Sorry to hear of your problem -

This is an unusual situation and probably best resolved by contacting VOSA directly.

I'm looking for some information !

I sat the 3 day NT course a week ago and passed ok and i have my smart card, but i have not had anyone from vosa out to watch me do the practical bit.

My problem is i left my job yesterday due to a difference in oppinion with my manager, can i start a new job at another mot station and get vosa out to watch me there,or do i have to do the whole thing again ?

If i only need to do the practical bit, how long do i have to get a job working at another test station ?

Thanks in advance
