m8 you might get a few of those questions if ur lucky..so the answers will not help really. If ur going on monday its a bit late for "revision".There is a book called the FUNDAMENTALS OF MOTOR VEHICLE TECHNOLOGY(i think) by Hilliers someone told me this was useful but at almost 600 pages even if you had it now you wouldnt take much in.......................

general knowledge is what you need, the questions are all about vehicles but not all are relative to the MOT test, they all have multiple choice answers. As far as i can remember there are sixty questions and you have ninety minutes to complete them you need to score well in each section to get an overall percentage,BE CAREFUL THOUGH THE WORDING IS TRICKY ON SOME,AND SOME OF THE ANSWERS LOOK LIKE MORE THAN ONE IS CORRECT..Good luck.....

there are multiple choice questions covering most subjects , including steering , suspension ,electrical , emissions , body & structure etc.

watch out for ackerman questions in the steering section

overall not a bad exam though.

if you have the necessary qualifications your garage can nominate you as a tester , you will then go on a 3 day course .

if you do not have the necessary qualifications you will have to do the ntt exam before the 3 day course.

after which you will need to learn a testing routine .

after you have learned the testing routine you will need to contact vosa & then do a demonstration test , if that is ok you will then be qualified to test.

Shaun its like marriage YOU have to decide if YOU want it NOT YOUR BOSS.It is a commitment YOU have to take,if you really want to do it then thats fine, but if your doing it to please someone else and your not really commited then personally I would not do it...im not saying theres anything wrong with being a tester but you need to take on board that it aint really that "EASY".......

On a positive note it depends on how long you have worked on the vehicles in the class you wish to test, and what qualifications you have...Get a copy of the VOSA leaflet on how to be a NT for more info that will tell you what is required....."Good luck" on your decision...........
