get a long flat head screwdriver, stick it in the middle of that plastic funnel and start turning.the inboard ones with the visible serrations are for side to side adjustment.the ones in the corners hidden behind the wing and only visible with a lamp are the ones you want.

probably will, not your bad.
maybe you might consider PRS the minor items like the ones you listed, stopping your boss digging himself a hole?
Headlamp Aim is now a VT20 retest item.

So what, in reality do we do?
I test on average 16 cars a day about a third trade. Some of them we C&D. When I fail one for say headlamp aim, brake light bulb and washers and hand the paperwork in, 2 mins later, when I'm onto the next test, my boss is in there doing a fastrack regardless of whether or not it needs a VT20 again
GRRRRRR I'm sure this is going to flag up at some point on the computer system.

Hi, You "Log On" and carry out a normal test, "as long as it takes"!
Then "Any" items that You believe can be repaired or adjusted within a reasonable amount of time, Before "Logging Off" can be carried out prior to You applying RFR`s as a PRS item and issue a Pass.
So If Your next Test is Two Hours after Your Initial "Log On" Then In Theory You have One Hours Grace.
In Reality, The Next Test is outside the door Waiting! Headlamps, Bulbs Wipers Danglers, maybe a Wheel Change? Any more than listed, Logistically is Impossible so Issue the Fail.
Wes.

hmmm I was told at my last refresher (nov 07) that absolutely no repairs or adjustments during the test.
Ok, so if you PRS do you
A. Log off a PRS test then adjust the lights
or
B. Adjust the lights and the log off a PRS test

No I'm not.
So, why the does the VSI screen (not the VT40) tell me how to adjust them?
Nice bit of VOSA rope to hang oneself from...
Who said your not??...I'm sure We had to ammend the manual to say we could...Last edited on Wed Mar 26th, 2008 07:56 pm by big..E.
