Don't really underatand what you are asking, no mot manager can nominate as you put it any one?? If you want to start doing mot's you will have to apply to vose to become a testing station. Go on the vosa website and look at the section D of the testing guide, that covers all the requirements of opening an mot testing station.
I think you are getting confused with an mot station nominating a tester to use the station to become a tester.
i have been in the motor trade for some time , and want to expand to mot's starting off by employing an nt, i would like to become a tester my self for cover so the bay's earning all year round (covering nt's hollidays,sickness ect..) i doubt another garage will entertain nominating me for the obvious reasons,
is it possable if there is 2 mot managers that they can nominate eachother? can it work like this or am i chasing an empty pot of gold
