It might not be near a seatbelt anchorage but what about suspension mountings? Depends where abouts on the arch I suppose.

can never be 100 % unless the car is there to be seen ;)

If the outer part of the arch is within 30cms of the seatbelt mounting, Prescribed Area?

Honda Civic - corrosion on rear wheel arch - does this have any conseqence to seat belt anchorage?  Would this result in MOT failure?
