Automechanika 2019 – not to be missed!
The Automechanika show is coming up in June (4th-6th), and if you don’t normally go to motor trade shows, this is one to go to.
For a start, they’ve made it easier than ever to get to – talk to your motor factor; if they are participating in the ‘Hosted Garage Programme’ they can arrange transport for you and other garages in your local area as a group, taking the headache out of travel and parking.
Once you arrive, all of the stands you’ll be interested in are grouped around one easy-to-navigate ‘central visitor highway’ – you won’t need to walk miles hunting out the ones on your list. There will be plenty of deals, discounts and offers to take advantage of in the ‘Big UK Garage Event’ – see below – before relaxing during the ‘daily happy hour’, with a complimentary drink courtesy of Automechanika.
The Big UK Garage Event
Registering for this event gets you free breakfast and a free drink during daily happy hour, as well as fast track entry, free parking and exclusive show offers.
That’s not to mention the free training and briefing events on subjects such as future mobility and innovation – autonomous and electric vehicles, battery technology and diagnostics, CPD Technology training from the IMI, and technical talks from industry luminaries such as Frank Massey, James Dillon and Andrew Crook.
The show’s organisers are also using software which enables visitors to register their areas of interest and get matched up to the appropriate exhibitors. The software will then plan an efficient itinerary of organised visits, ensuring that everything is you’re interested in seeing is included and each stand will be ready and waiting for you.
Workshop Training Hub
In association with Autotechnician, sponsored by ACTronics
See technical talks from expert speakers including Frank Massey, James Dillon, Steve Carter, Andy Crook, Darren Darling and many others.
You’ll hear the latest on engine fault diagnosis, evidence based prediction, ‘skills or systems’ and ‘Ev; facts from fiction”. Training partners are Delphi Technologies, Hella Gutmann Solutions, IMI, Snap-On, Yuasa and ZF.
Get onto the Automechanika website to look at the full details, and don’t forget to register!
Lastly, make the best of this Automechanika – the next show will be in two years’ time, 2021. In order not to clash with the Frankfurt Motor Show, which was giving exhibitors and visitors alike the problem of deciding which event to invest their resources and time in. Automechanika will be every two years from now on.
So, if you want to catch up on some fantastic motor industry deals and keep up to date with aftermarket technology and innovation you’ll be in good company – registrations to Automechanika are 21% up on last year, with over 500 exhibitors, 164 of them involved in the aftermarket.
