The Government have announce that they will extend all MOT certificates for cars and light commercial vehicles for 6 months on a rolling basis from the end of this month – ie from 1st April.
This means that anybody seeking to tax their vehicles for which the MOT expired less than six months before 1st April will still be able to do so – but if the vehicle’s MOT expiry date was earlier than that, ie before 1st October 2019, taxing that vehicle won’t be possible.
